The most interesting part of my job is definitely the creative component. I’ve been creating whimsical and colourful bijoux since I was a little girl, but it was the day I opened my company Cosevane, in 2002, that it became my profession.
For several years before opening the Cosevane store in Pisa I showcased my creations in international jewerly exhibitions and fairs. I enjoyed participating in craft markets, where I met many artists and artisans. During these years of work, I have always studied new techniques of jewelry manufacturing, specifically learning from the great master of Florentine jewelry Bino Bini, whose tecniques I have made my own, integrating them into the Cosevane style.
In 2005 I fulfilled one of my biggest dreams: I opened the Cosevane crafts workshop in the historic center of Pisa, a few steps from Piazza dei Miracoli. Since then, many people have come to visit me in my small shop – people who, year after year, always come back. Someone got lost along the way, but we all know you can’t please everyone.
